Picked up a Dacia Duster at Belgrade airport and drove to Zlatibor via Cacak. The vehicle was clean, fuel tank full, and the handover took about 15 minutes. The rental company marked a small scratch on the rear bumper in the contract, which I appreciated. Mountain roads around Zlatibor were no problem for the Duster. Returned the vehicle with no issues.
Rented a Toyota RAV4 for a week-long trip from Belgrade to Tara National Park and back via Novi Sad. Fuel consumption was reasonable for the distance covered.

The only minor point: the instructions for e-vignette sticker placement on the windscreen could be clearer - I had to check online to confirm the correct position. Otherwise, a smooth experience.

The Tiguan came with winter tyres already fitted, which made driving on snowy mountain roads much safer.
