4Drive Serbia is a booking platform connecting drivers to local rental companies operating across Serbia. We work with established operators in Belgrade, Novi Sad, and other key locations, offering a single interface to search vehicles, compare terms, and confirm reservations online. Each booking is fulfilled by the local company named in your voucher.
We focus on transparent terms and clear documentation. Every vehicle listing shows the excess amount, accepted payment methods for the balance, and optional extras such as e-vignette for motorways, cross-border written permission, second driver, and child seats. You select your pick-up time during the search, and the voucher includes the exact address and contact details of the issuing company.
Our team operates from Vracar, Belgrade, handling customer enquiries Monday to Sunday between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM (GMT+1). We do not own a fleet or manage rental counters; instead, we streamline the booking process so you deal directly with the operator who hands over the keys.
The booking cycle runs in four steps. First, you enter your pick-up and drop-off dates, choose a location such as Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport (BEG) or central Novi Sad, and browse available vehicles. Listings display the daily rate, excess liability, fuel policy, and whether the balance can be settled with a debit card or requires a credit card.
Second, you pay a booking advance online by card to confirm the reservation. Cash is not accepted during the online stage. The remaining balance is due when you collect the vehicle, using the payment method specified in the listing and printed on your voucher.
Third, you receive a voucher by email containing the rental company's name, exact address (pick-up counter, terminal desk, or hotel delivery), operating hours, emergency contact, and a summary of your reservation terms. Print or save the voucher on your phone.
Fourth, you present the voucher, a valid driving licence, and the required payment card at the designated location. The rental company inspects the vehicle with you, notes any existing marks in the contract, and issues the keys. At return, the same walk-around confirms the condition, and any damage within the stated excess becomes your responsibility.
We currently list vehicles in Belgrade and Novi Sad. Belgrade includes pick-up points at Nikola Tesla Airport (BEG), 18 km west of the city centre via motorway E-75, and in-city locations around Vracar and the central municipality. Novi Sad coverage extends to the city centre and the northern industrial zone near the E-75 corridor.
Operators affiliated with 4Drive hold permits for cross-border travel to neighbouring countries, subject to written permission arranged as a paid extra during booking. Popular routes from Belgrade include the 85 km drive north to Novi Sad, 230 km west to Zlatibor mountain via Cacak, 280 km south to Kopaonik ski resort, and 200 km east to Djerdap National Park along the Danube canyon.
Continental climate defines the driving season: hot summers and cold winters, with spring and autumn offering moderate temperatures for road trips through Tara National Park, the Drina River viewpoint 180 km west, and the plains near Subotica close to the Hungarian border 185 km north.
Several operators on our platform offer vehicles that require no security hold on your card at pick-up. This arrangement is independent of the excess amount, which remains your liability in case of damage. The operator does not block funds or request a deposit slip, simplifying the handover and return process.
Travellers who prefer not to reserve a large credit limit find these vehicles convenient. The excess still applies, recorded in the rental contract, and payable if the vehicle is returned with new damage. The no-deposit feature simply removes the hold; it does not alter insurance terms or reduce your financial responsibility for incidents.
